     SiMPLuS solution provides most comprehensive optical network discovery and inventory management. It seamlessly interfaces with vendor-specific EMS’s using CORBA, REST, Curl API’s to capture relevant port and circuit inventory data in a multi-vendor and multi-technology optical network. It further builds on the optical cross-connect and concatenation logic to stitch together end-to-end optical trails or circuits. It simplifies information by bringing vendor-specific data in a common format and provides E2E visibility of optical circuits. As part of inventory management, the utilization of optical network device inventory in terms of cards, slots and ports is captured to help in planning new customer services.

     The solution is customized as per specific requirements in circuit provisioning and supports various optical network technologies (SDH, DWDM, OTN). The solution is highly versatile to cater to complexities in network setup, vendor syntax, customer processes and policies. It enables design of specific automation templates for each flavor of circuit and service type. It provides workflows for establishing SDH/DWDM optical trails, 3-way/4-way optical rings, Ethernet services, E-line services over pseudo wire, etc. and provides bandwidth utilization at VC level or ODU level pre and post service creation.
